A road safety officer had the misfortune of hitting a Benz G-wagon while drunk-driving. Road safety officers are usually dreaded by road users because of their eagerness to pounce on real and perceived road safety related infractions. It was therefore a shock to see one of such officials driving on the express fully drunk.
It is not clear how the FRSC will handle this matter as Nigerians have been complaining about the many excesses of this body. Many times, their vehicles are not road worthy, begging the question – who watches the watcher?
