The Independent National Electoral Commission has disclosed that fresh registration in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration across the country has hit 6.6 million.
The commission disclosed this in Abuja in an update on Quarter three, week nine of the CVR. The update showed that as at 7am on Monday, March 7, the fresh batch of registration reached exactly 6,615,192 million.

From the disclosure, it was also learnt that 3,707,233 registrants completed their registration of which 1,539,618 were through online and 2,167,615 were physical.
INEC disclosed that out of the persons that completed their registration, 1,863,963 were male, 1,843,270 were female, and 31,517 were Persons With Disabilities.
The number of youths from age 18 to 34 who registered were 2,569,852, the report showed.
INEC received 11,346,365 applications for voter transfer, requests for replacement of Permanent Voters Cards, and update of voter information record.
According to the update, the applications were received from 6,051,318 male and 5,295,047 female. Out of them, 108,706 were People With Disabilities across all categories.
