The wife of Anambra State’s Governor-elect, Mrs Nonye Soludo has said that she will be actively involved in helping her husband, Professor Chukwuma Soludo to give Ndi Anambra the best form of governance.
Mrs Soludo, who disclosed this while assessing preparations of the incoming administration, revealed that while her husband is taking on his articulated development policies for the state, she would add further verve to the process by creating a social structure that accommodates women and children, especially the girl child.
She noted that contrary to some misinformed comments that she would play a relegated role in the incoming government, she has already mapped out strong blueprints to complement her husband’s administrative roadmaps.

The incoming governor’s wife further stated that just like in a natural family setting, where responsibilities are traditionally partitioned, she strongly believed that every woman has a great deal to offer to good governance.
She explained that as a governor’s wife, she would also play key responsibilities in good governance, and support her husband in every way.
Mrs Soludo also described her husband, Professor Soludo as a liberal democrat, who accommodates ideas and visions that could make his goals for Anambra State work, without considering gender, social, political, ethnic or religious affiliations.
