Buba Galadima, a former associate of President Muhammadu Buhari, has warned that the Chief of Armed forces may be kidnapped soon.
Galadima disclosed expressed the concern during an interview with BBC Hausa service while commenting on the insecurity challenges confronting the nation’s capital city, Abuja.
Recall that terrorists recently attacked Kuje Prison in the FCT and freed scores of suspected members of the terror group, Boko Haram.
This was followed by an attack on 7 Guards Battalion of the Nigerian Army Presidential Guards Troops in Bwari Area Council of Abuja on Monday. About 8 soldiers were reportedly killed with several others injured.
Reacting to the spate of terror attacks, Galadima said the citizens are left with no other option than to adopt self defence.

He said, “If care is not taken, sooner or later, Buhari too can be kidnapped considering the way security issues are ignored.
“The only option available now is to either continue praying or arm ourselves for protection, but if we depend on this government, definitely we will be killed.”
