30 Herdsmen, 322 Cows Missing in Anambra, Miyetti Allah Tells Police

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, has in a formal complaint to the police alleged that attacks on Fulani herders in Anambra State has led to 30 Fulani herders and 322 cows being unaccounted for.

The group lamented the spate of violence against herders around Ayamelum, Anambra East, Orumba South, Dunukofia LGAs.

The complaint was raised by the South Eastern Zone Chapter before the Deputy Inspector General of Police, E Department, Force Headquarters.

According to the letter signed by the Zonal Chairman, Gidado Siddiki, the attacks resulted in casualties.

It read, “The lives of members of MACBAN are in danger in parts of these concerned communities.

“We, therefore, ask for your urgent interventions to forestall further loss of lives and properties.”
