Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has expressed optimism that Bola Tinubu would enjoy massive support among the Yoruba in the 2023 elections.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has expressed optimism that the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu would enjoy massive support among the Yoruba.
He disclosed this at the 2022 edition of the Annual Ojude Oba Festival in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State on Monday.
Sanwo-Olu spoke highly of Tinubu, describing him as an experienced leader who would deliver if given the opportunity.
He was quoted by SAN to have said, “It is my firm hope and belief that the Yoruba race will unite as one behind the momentous candidature of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“He is a proud son of the race and one of the most formidable politicians to have ever emerged from Africa”.
The governor added that the Ojude Oba reminds that evil will never triumph over good.
Sanwo-Olu added, “We must never lose sight of this unifying element, especially at a time when the forces of division seem to be working to undermine all that we cherish”.
