Ahead of the 2023 elections, the presidential flagbearer of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi and his running mate, Datti Baba-Ahmed have visited former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo in his county home.
The pair visited Obasanjo in his residence in Abeokuta, Osun State on Sunday.
Also spotted at the visit was Ituah Igbodalo, the Senior Pastor of Trinity House, a social activist.
Pictures of the visit were shared on social media by a former United Nations official, Oseloka Obaze. Recall that Obaze was the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for the Anambra governorship election in 2017.

The meeting is perceived as part of an ongoing consultation by the LP candidate with senior citizens ahead of the 2023 elections.
Obi has recently emerged as a youth favourite across the country. Most youths under the Obedient movement are routing for the former governor to take Nigeria to an enviable level.
