Prince Uche Secondus, National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and other members of the National Working Committee (NWC) have voluntarily agreed not to seek reelection in the forthcoming national convention of the party scheduled to hold in October, this year. Ortom, Wike, Secondus Meet in Makurdi

Feelers indicated that the meeting which was at the instance of Governor Ortom was to broker peace between Wike and the national chairman, Uche. PDP Demands Buhari’s Resignation Over Insecurity

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign following the President’s own admission that his administration has failed to secure the nation. In a statement on Saturday, signed by his media adviser, Ike Abonyi, the party chairman said as Commander-In-Chief, the buck stops at the President’s table, adding that he should accept his failure and stop giving excuses. Secondus said rather than the President’s belated lamentations after 67 months in power that he has been unable to perform, he should do the honourable thing by resigning and giving way for fresh ideas and new vitality. The party chair recalled similar call to former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2013, asking Jonathan to vacate and gi...
