The Nigerian Air Force has disclosed the identity of the person responsible for the death of Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile. Ibikunle Daramola, NAF Director of Public Relations and Information revealed the name of Arotile’s ex-classmate, who hit Nigeria’s first female combat helicopter pilot with a vehicle as “Mr Nehemiah Adejoh”. The Flying Officer sustained head injuries which led to her death on Wednesday after she was hit by a car driven by Adejoh at the NAF base in Kaduna State. In a report given after preliminary investigation, Daramola said that Arotile reunited with three of her erstwhile schoolmates at the Air Force Secondary School, renamed Air Force Comprehensive School, Kaduna, on the day of her death. The Nigerian Air Force has confirmed that two persons have been arrested over the death of Nigeria’s first female combat helicopter pilot as investigation was launched to unravel circumstances leading to the death of the Flying officer in a road mishap last week. Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, NAF Director f Public Relations and Information in a communique said the force will disclose findings after investigation. Daramola said that the Arotile would be laid to rest at the National Cemetery, Abuja on Thursda, July 23 in maximum military honours.
