Human rights body, Amnesty International has said that Boko Haram committed unabated crimes against humanity in Nigeria, leading to the wanton destruction of property and loss of lives. It disclosed this in a series of tweets on its verified Twitter handle on Wednesday, noting that the terrorist group has been unleashing violence on residents of the north-east region since 2009. BREAKING: Seven Killed As Gunmen Attack Kaduna Community

Not less than seven people have died after gunmen stormed Ungwan Bido village in Jemaa Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Sunday morning. Two children are also said to be missing after the attack. Samuel Aruwa, Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, confirmed the story to ChannelsTV, stating that the attackers burnt down four houses. The attack follows the alleged killing of a Fulani herdsman, Isiyaka Saidu, of Ungwan Pah village on Saturday. Meanwhile, Governor Nasir El-Rufai said he had directed the State Emergency Management Agency to, as a matter of urgency, provide relief materials to citizens whose houses were burnt as well as those injured in the attack. The convoy of Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, was involved in a fresh attack on Sunday morning around Baga. The fresh attack which did not record any death, happened when the governor and his convoy were returning to Maiduguri. 30 Dead as Boko Haram Attack Borno Governor’s Convoy

The Convoy of Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum was attacked by terror sect Boko Haram on Friday leaving the death toll at 30. Sources in Maiduguri said the casualties from the attack on Zulum on a highway had doubled, following the recovery of more bodies. The victims of the attack included policemen and members of the Civilian Joint Task Force. However, The police and the governor have come out to said 11 people died in the attack.
