Nigerians Mock Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye

The Super Eagles of Nigeria suffered a 0-1 loss to the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Sunday, January 23, 2022, and are out of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon. The only goal of the game came in the 47th minute through Youssef Msakni. Nigerians took to Twitter after the game to express their disappointment with goalkeeper Maduka Okoye. Tunisia, on Sunday, eliminated Nigeria from the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). The match ended in a 0-0 draw at half-time after both Nigeria and Tunisia failed to score. NFF Considers Appointing Eguavoen Permanent Super Eagles Coach

The Nigeria Football Federation is considering the possibility of appointing Augustine Eguavoen as permanent Super Eagles coach.
