Senate Tells FG To Declare Known Terrorist Leaders Wanted

The Senate has called on the President, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) led Federal Government to declare all known leaders of terrorists wanted. The call was made on Wednesday in a six-point resolution reached by the chamber, following a motion considered on the urgent need to stem the increasing spate of kidnappings and insecurity across parts of the country. Some security agencies have got approval from President Muhammadu Buhari, to access the database of the National Identity Management Commission in the course of carrying out their duties. Tactical teams of the Imo State Police Command have allegedly shot dead a member of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Eastern Security Network (ESN) in a fierce gun battle in a forest in Onicha, Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of the state.
