Lagos Police Commissioner to Partner NIM on Capacity Building

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Zubairu Muazu on Thursday promised to collaborate with Nigerian Institute of Management through capacity building training of officers of the State command. He disclosed this in a courtesy visit to Management House of the Institution. Saying the visit aimed to familiarize and identify with the management of the institute where he is a member. Nigeria: Nigerian Air Force Appoints Branch Chiefs, Redeploys AOCs

In a bid to adopt effective operational system, the Nigerian Air Force on Wednesday appointed new Branch Chiefs, redeployed 2 Air Officers Commanding (AOCs) and other senior officers. In a statement from its spokesman, Air commodore Ibikunle Daramola, said the new appointments take effect from 19th of July. According to Daramola,Ā  two Air Officers Commanding were redeployed in the force. STAND Foundation has called for the establishment of Sexual Assault and Referral Centers (SARC) dedicated to offer Medicare, and emotional support to the victims of any sexual assaults in the country. Thirty people were killed late Sunday in multiple suicide bombing in northeast Nigeria, emergency services reported, in an attack bearing the hallmarks of the Boko Haram jihadist group.
