The family of late Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, alias TB Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, has petitioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to quiz officials of the church over alleged misappropriation of funds. The crisis comes barely four months after the death of the founder. The crisis is linked to the inability of the late Prophet to lay down a clear line of succession before his demise. Recall that T.B Joshua had died on June 5, 2021, and was buried a few weeks after within the premises of SCOAN amid so much fanfare. But, shortly after his burial, the succession crisis commenced. Mbaka, who made the call in a homily during Sunday mass, queried whether the attack on the NDA was carried out by the IPOB leader. Any South-Easterner Who Becomes President Will Fail – Bishop Mike Okonkwo

The bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission, TREM, has said that it would amount to pity for a South-Easterner to emerge President on the basis of appeasing the region. The Cleric added that any South-Easterner who becomes President would fail, claiming that the present system cannot allow success. Speaking with journalists in Lagos, the TREM founder stressed that the South-East should not beg to be President rather, should have an equal right with over citizens. According to Okonkwo: “To the best of my knowledge, the easterners are not asking for anything other than live and let live. “They are not saying, ‘give us everything’. For me, to be honest with you, I am not in agreement with any easterner saying, ‘it’s time for us to be president’. Read Also: 2023: Give Igbos A...
