A deliverance pastor in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city, who was recently attacked by a mysterious big snake, says no form of attack will stop him from preaching the gospel of Christ and restoring destinies of the oppressed. An eye-witness told this reporter on Thursday that the pastor organised a thanksgiving on Saturday, praising God for His ''marvelous works'' in his life and family. The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has given Falz a 7-day period within which to withdraw the video and apologise to Nigerians. According to the group, if he does not do this, he will face legal actions. The group particularly had issues with the girls dancing "shaku shaku" while dressed in hijab. They also commented on the Fulani man who was shown beheading someone after dropping his traditional guitar. The request applies to priests in Brazil, and is on the agenda for an upcoming synod (church council) in the Amazon region. The Lagos State Building Control Agency has sealed a zonal headquarters of the Redeemed Christian Church of God under construction in Ajegunle, a hotel in Ikeja and six other buildings for illegal development and breaking government seal. The RCCG parish, located on Old Ojo Road in Ajegunle, was accused of breaking government’s seal after a stop-work notice was served. President Muhammadu Buhari told Catholic bishops in Abuja today that he would take a second look at appointments made by the Federal Government to redress issues being raised. He said the review will be done after a compendium of all appointments has been submitted to him. He told the bishops, under the aegis of Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria, that no ethnic group or political zone has been deliberately marginalised in the appointments made so far by his administration.
