Two Terrorists Arrested in Connection with The Owo Church Massacre

Two terrorists have been arrested by the Defence Headquarters in connection with the massacre of worshippers at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State. On Sunday, the 5th of June, unknown gunmen opened fire on the worshippers of the Catholic Church, claiming the lives of over 30 persons and leaving several others wounded. Owo Massacre: Tears at Funeral Mass for Victims

Victims of the Owo massacre that took place about 13 days ago are to be laid to rest today. A funeral mass for the victims took place today at the Mydas Resort, Owo and had in attendance Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state along with many other dignitaries. Expectedly, there was a huge turnout of people who, either came to pay their last respects or to simply witness the event.
