Abductors of Nollywood Actors demand $100,000 Ransom

The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has confirmed that the abductors of missing actors, Clemson Cornel and Cynthia Okereke have contacted their families and they are demanding ransom. The AGN President, Emeka Rollas reported that the kidnappers have contacted the families of the abductees and are demanding a ransom of $100,000. Police Launch Manhunt For Kidnappers Of Nollywood Star

The Enugu State Command of the Nigeria Police has commenced an investigation to nab the kidnappers of Nollywood actress, Cynthia Okereke. DSP Daniel Ndukwe, Enugu Police Public Relations Officer, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday. Mrs Monalisa Chinda-Coker, Director of Communications, Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, had raised an alarm that the families of actress Okereke and actor Clemson Cornel reported that they were yet to return home after shooting a movie at Ozalla community. Nollywood stars Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornell have reportedly been abducted by suspected gunmen after returning from a movie set in Enugu. Monalisa Chinda of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) disclosed the information on her Instagram page. She stated that the film stars were declared missing by their family members when they didn’t return from a movie set located at Ozalla Town in Enugu State. Popular Nollywood actor Dan Nkoloagu has died, African News Today has gathered. The veteran actor’s death was announced by his son Dan Nkoloagu Junior on Facebook on January 23, 2021. According to his son, he died on 22nd of January. He wrote, “It was a black Friday for us yesterday as my Dad left us without saying goodbye.” The actor died aged 83.
