Amaju Pinnick, the President of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, has confirmed that he will not run for a third term after his current tenure expires this year. Pinnick, a former chairman of Delta State Football Association took over as NFF President in 2014 and his tenure is expected to end next month. The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has confirmed that the dispute over the payment platform involving the Integrated Payroll and Persona Information System, IPPIS, and the University Transparency and Accountability Solution, UTAS, has been handled. The issue of payment platform has been one of the major contending issues between the FG and the university lecturers.
