Reno Omokri Former media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has reacted to claims of Muslim youths looking for Christian youths in Sokoto State. Omokri said the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Mathew Hassan Kukah dismissed such a claim during a conversation they had. Agreement Reached With ASUU, Others, Strike Ends Soon –FG

ASUU Strike The Federal Government has expressed optimism that the decisions reached in its three-part meeting with university-based unions would yield fruits next week. The Head, Press and Public Relations in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Mr Olajide Oshundun, in a statement on Friday, said some agreements had been reached between the government and the unions. The Academic Staff Union of Universities, the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, the Non-Academic Staff Union, and the Association of Academic Technologists are currently on strike. Deborah’s Killing Distressing – Osinbajo Finally Reacts, Commends Buhari, Sultan Of Sokoto

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has condemned the killing of a 200-level student of Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto, Deborah Samuel. Osinbajo described Deborah’s murder over alleged blasphemy as deeply distressing. He said there was no justification for extra-judicial killing because there were legal channels of addressing any misdeed.
