Judicial Panels Must Investigate Lekki Shooting, Ensure Accountability for Crime – UK

The United Kingdom has called for the probe of the shooting at Lekki Toll Gate area of Lagos and other related incidents that occurred during the #EndsARS protests. Security forces had opened fire at peaceful demonstrators at the Lekki toll gate areas after protesters had camped there for weeks demanding for an end to police brutality and a reform of the force. The United Kingdom High Commission in Nigeria disclosed in a tweet on its verified Twitter handle on Monday that perpetrators of crimes must be brought to book. Lekki Shooting: Fashola Discovers Camera at Shooting Area

Former governor of Lagos state and Minister of Works and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola has discovered a camera at the Lekki Toll Gate Area of Lagos, site of the shooting that took place last week. The minister made the discovery while touring areas rocked by violence during a solidary visit to the governor of Lagos state, Babjide Sanwo-Olu. Fashola was part of a Federal Government delegation to commiserate with the governor and ascertain the level of damage done to the state. Osinbajo Breaks Silence, Speaks on Lekki Shooting

Following the shooting at Lekki toll gate area of Lagos State, Vice President Yemi Osinbjo has condoled with victims of the violent act that took place on  Tuesday night. Lagos Shootings Amount to Extrajudicial Executions, Must Be Investigated – Amnesty International

Amnesty International has admitted that security operatives killed scores of peaceful protesters in two locations in Lagos State on Tuesday. Lekki Shooting: No Life was Lost – Sanwo-Olu

Governor Babjide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has said no casualty was recorded in the shooting that took place at Lekki toll gate area of the state. Sanwo-Olu disclosed this in a state broadcast on Wednesday, noting that contrary to claims on social media, his tour of hospitals and morgues in the state showed that two persons underwent surgery while others that sustained “mild to moderate” injuries were being treated. BREAKING: Hoodlums Attack TVC in Lagos

Irate hoodlums have attacked Television Continental (TVC) headquarters in Lagos State on Wednesday (today). The thugs thronged the entrance of the Television station in Ikosi-Ketu area of Lagos and tried breaking in to the broadcast station. The attack on TVC, speculated to be owned by APC national leader, Bola Tinubu disrupted the broadcast of the station as programmes scheduled for Wednesday morning were delayed. The development comes after scores of #EndSARS protesters were killed on Tuesday by alleged security operatives in some parts of Lagos, notably at the Lekki Toll Gate. Some Nigerians have fingered Tinubu as one of the masterminds in the shooting of young Nigerians who are asking for an end to police brutality and reform of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
