Peter Okoye of Psquare has fired back at former Senator, Dino Melaye, that 2023 for claiming that it is not the turn of the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi to lead Nigeria. According to Okoye, it has become the turn of ordinary Nigerians to decide who will be the president.   He said the time for the old to hand over the country to the younger generation as the youths have decided to play an active role in nation-building. Ifeanyi Okowa, Delta State Governor, has stated that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, does not possess enough experience to lead the country. Okowa, the vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, disclosed this in an interview with the BBC pidgin. Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, has disclosed why he did not inform Alhaji Atiku Abubakar before leaving the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in May. Recall that Obi, a former Governor of Anambra State decamped from the PDP to LP in May before the PDP held its presidential primary election. Atiku, PDP presidential flagbearer had disclosed during an interview on Arise Television, that Obi told him of his defection three days after dumping the PDP.
