Fulani Herdsmen: About 50 Killed in Fresh Attacks at Adamawa
About 50 persons have been reportedly killed in fresh attacks in Adamawa state. The attack which was reportedly carried out by armed fulani herdsmen took place in Gojefa, Bujum Yashi, Bujum Waya, Sabon layi and Bujum Kasuwa, all vilages in Numan Local Government Area of the state.
The attack also affected the following communities in Taraba state: Anguwan Bishop Yotti, Todung, Budon, Bunzum and Bamga Dutse. According to reports, the attacks took place on Monday night.
One of the residents of Sabon Layi who managed to escape narrated their ordeal. He said "The people who attacked us are Fulani. They came when we were in the market because it’s market day.
