Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi has joined Lithuanian champions FK Zalgaris, African News Today gathered.
Onazi who has featured for Lazio, Trabzonspor and Denizlispor left Danish club SönderjyskE in January.
Announcing the deal, the club wrote on its official website, ”Ogenyi Eddy Onazi, a long-time midfielder of the Nigerian national team, has joined the ranks of the Lithuanian champions.”
“Onazi, 28, is best known in the world of football for representing one of the strongest Italian clubs in Rome, Lazio. In it, the Nigerian began his career in Europe, playing 110 matches in all tournaments in five seasons, scoring 7 goals.
Zalgris will feature in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League next season.
