Chelsea Legend, John Mikel Obi has congratulated his former side for winning the 2020/2021 UEFA Champions League, African News Today has gathered.
The West London club beat Manchester City 1-0 at the Estadio Dragao on Saturday night to claim the European title.
Thomas Tuchel guided the club to their second Champions League and the first since 2012.
Mikel was part of the Chelsea team that won their first Champions League Title in 2012 after playing a pivotal role.
The former midfielder took to social media to celebrate the remarkable feat.
He wrote on Instagram, “Well done boys. We are the blues.”
