With this announcement, the former governor of Kaduna State and former Senator threw in his hat into the race for the Presidency of Nigeria come 2019. Makarfi made this announcement at a press briefing which took place today Sunday June 17th.
He will run under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, bringing the number of known contenders under the party to two. The first being former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
