Recall that ASUU had on February 14, 2022, embarked on a strike over issues relating to the renegotiation of the 2009 agreement and deployment of the University Transparency Accountability Solution (UTAS) payment platform. About one million qualified Nigerians will be engaged by the National Population Commission, NPC, to help facilitate the 2023 National Census. The commission promised to conduct a credible census devoid of manipulation and hijack by interesting parties through the deployment of technological innovation.
