International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned that the projected economic growth for Nigeria may not be realized on the strength of the #ENDSARS protest. The organization expressed serious concern over the state of the nation as the protests continue. CBN Website Hacked? Bank Reacts to Speculated Hacking

Nigeria’s apex bank, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN),  has dismissed speculations of its website being hacked on Friday. The reports became rife after the website of National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) was hacked yesterday (Friday) by a group. In a statement on its official Twitter  handle, CBN said that its website was safe and secure as opposed to reports of it being hacked. The bank asked Nigerians to desist from spreading false news as its website had not been tampered with and fully secured against hackers. Varsity Workers Won’t be Cowed into Enrolling on IPPIS – ASUU Tells FG

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), accused the Federal Government of engaging in blackmail of its workers into enrolling on the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System (IPPIS). Dr Austen Sado, Chairman of the University of Port Harcourt Branch of ASUU, on Sunday said members of the union will not be pushed into enrolling on IPPIS despite some of its members not being paid salaries since February. He said the N13.08 trillion 2021 budget proposal contravened the Fiscal Responsibility Act. Breaking: Nigerian FEC Approves N13.08tn Budget for 2021

  The Nigerian Federal Executive Council (FEC) has projected a N13.08 trillion budget for the 2021 fiscal year. Speaking to State House Correspondents after the weekly virtual FEC meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, the Minister for Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs. Zainab Ahmed, also said the oil benchmark has been pegged at $40 per barrel.
