Zamfara Government Alleges Diversion of N10bn Earmarked for Construction of University

The Zamfara Sate Government has alerted public attention to the diversion of N10bn appropriated for the construction of a state university under the administration of former governor Abdulazizi Yari. This was expressed by Commissioner for Finance in the state, Alhaji Rabiu Garba during a press briefing on Tuesday in the state capital, Gusau. The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control has directed schools to conduct COVIDD-19 risk assessment weekly. The directive comes as part of measures to contain the spread of dreaded COVID-19 virus as more states are set to fully reopen schools on Monday. The NCDC equally ordered local governments and states to conduct monthly and quarterly COVID-19 risk assessment in schools.
