Following the rumoured death of the leader of the gang that carried out the Offa robbery that claimed about 33 persons, some Civil Society Organizations have called on the Police to produce him or face legal action. An angry mob attacked the Ibeshe Police station in Ikorodu, Lagos state on Wednesday following the death of an Okada rider that morning. It was learnt that an Okada rider by the name Paul who hails from Ebonyi state died on Wednesday morning following an accident he had the night before. A 25-year-old welder has been killed by a Fulani man in his shop in the Sabo area of Orile-Igbon town in Oyo State after a fight broke out at a joint close to the deceased shop. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said on Sunday that it had suspended its employee, Philomina Chieshe, on account of N36m which was reported to have been swallowed by a snake in the board’s office in Makurdi, Benue State. The JAMB Head of Information, Fabian Benjamin, told our correspondent on Sunday that the board was taking her through other disciplinary measures while security agencies were investigating the matter.
