The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has insisted that the Continuous Voters, CVR, exercise will not be extended as it is set to stop on July 31, 2022 (today). 2023 Election: INEC To Provide 200,000 BVAS – Okoye

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has said that over 200,000 Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS, will be deployed for the 2023 general elections. This was disclosed by Festus Okoye, INEC National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, in Umuahia, Abia State. He said that the BVAS would be deployed in the 176,000 polling units across the country, adding that the surplus will be kept handy as a reserve.
