Aero Contractors MD, Ado Sanusi, Resigns

The Managing Director of Aero Contractors, Captain Ado Sanusi, has resigned. Sanusi confirmed this on the telephone to our correspondent on Wednesday. According to Sanusi, his resignation took effect on December 31, 2020. “There is a time for everything. There is a time when I joined Aero and there is a time I am leaving. I thank God for the contribution I made in Aero and I am happy I finished successfully,” he added. Captain Sanusi started his flying carrier at Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria where he obtained Commercial Pilot Licence and a National Diploma in Aeronautical Sciences, according to information from his LinkedIn page.

Alleged Certificate Forgery: Obaseki Submits Original Certificate From UI

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State on Tuesday presented before a Federal High Court in Abuja series of documents, including the original copy of the Bachelor of Arts certificate he claimed was issued to him by the University of Ibadan (UI) in 1979, to support his claim that he graduated from the school. Immigration Confirms Travel Restrictions on Erring Passengers

The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has imposed six months travel restrictions on 100 passengers who violated the COVID 19 protocols. Its spokesman, Sunday James, said on Monday in Abuja that the restrictions were in line with the Federal Government’s directive on the passengers. He explained in a statement that the affected passengers have been notified and would be prevented accordingly from travelling outside the country. The Oyo State Security Network Agency known as Amotekun has said its officer, Ibrahim Ogundele, did not intentionally shoot a police constable, Fatai Yekini. Sowore, Four others Arraigned in Abuja For Alleged Public Disturbance

The publisher of online platform, Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore has been arraigned with four others before a Magistrate’s Court in Wuse zone 2, Abuja by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF). Super Eagles and Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has been fined two weeks’ wages by Napoli for flouting the club’s COVID-19 regulations. Bayelsa Govt. Says Schools To Resume Jan 11

Bayelsa State Government has directed all primary and secondary schools in the state to resume for the 2020/2021 academic session on Monday, January 11. This was announced in a statement by the Commissioner for Education, Gentle Emelah. He said that all boarding students were expected to arrive in their schools on Sunday, January 10. Emelah equally directed the management of schools to ensure total adherence to the COVID-19 safety guidelines.
