Serie A sides Lazio are interested in signing Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu from Genk this summer, according to Italian radio ReelRadio. Onuachu has been by some clear distance the best striker in Belgium over the current campaign, with the 26-year-old netting his 34th goal of the campaign in Wednesday’s 1-1 draw against Anderlecht. The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has announced that Uduak Frank Akpan, the suspected killer of a job seeker, Iniubong Umoren will be paraded on Friday to dismiss rumour of his death in custody. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Odiko Macdon, who made this known in a telephone conversation with SaharaReporters, lamented that people are frustrating police's efforts. He explained that it is not possible for the police to allow a suspect to commit suicide in detention. "How can we allow him to commit suicide? Youths from Nnung Ikono Obio in the Oruan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, on Tuesday, stormed the family house of Uduak Akpan, the prime suspect in the murder of a jobseeker, Iniubong Umoren, and vandalised it. The remains of a 300-level Law student of the Imo State University, Owerri, Kingsley Chiwueze, has been found in the morgue of the Umuguma General Hospital, Owerri, on Sunday five days after he was declared missing.
