FG Announces Dates for NECO, NABTEB, National Common Entrance Examinations

The Federal Government of Nigeria has said that the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) organised by the National Examination Council (NECO) will start on October 5 and end on November 18, 2020. Ben Bem Goong, Director of press and public relations, Ministry of Education announced the date on Wednesday. The statement said that the Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba disclosed the date on Wednesday on Wednesday after concluding meeting with head of examination bodies in Nigeria. Family and friends of Patrick Stephen were on July 10th 2020 shocked by the untimely death of their son, husband, brother and friend. The ever jovial and vibrant youngman was caught by a stray bullet fired during an attempt by armed robbers to rob a bullion van at Ajah in Lagos. What is most sad is that this is one avoidable death too many. The Lagos State Sports Commission, LSSC, has conducted screening for all Athletes who will represent the State at the forthcoming Fifth National Youth Games holding in Ilorin, Kwara State from 7th to 17th September 2019.
