World Population Day: Lagos Lawmaker Seeks Government Intervention on Population Control
A member, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Gbolahan Yishawu representing Eti-Osa constituency 02 on Thursday seek government intervention to control Nigeria's increased population.
Yishawu made this known in a statement issued in commemoration of the 2019 World Population Day.
It would be recalled that the World Population Day is observed annually on July 11.
Yishawu who is the ad-hoc Committee Chairman on Budget and Economic Planning maintained that government must look for ways to control over population and address problems associated with it.
