The Kaduna-Abuja train has currently broken down in Dutse, Kaduna, for hours leaving hundreds of passengers stranded. According to an Assistant National Secretary of the Nigeria Union of Journalist, NUJ, who is one of the passengers, the train developed an issue around 7am, SaharaReporters reports. He said, “I left my house as early as 5am to join the 6:40am train but unfortunately I have been trapped here in this forest. This is not the first time I will be experiencing this mess,” he said. UAE Prolongs Ban on Nigeria Flights to March 20

The United Arab Emirates has announced an extension of the ban on Nigerian flights till March 20, 2021. This was contained in a statement issued by the public relations firm for Emirates made available to newsmen which stated that travellers from both Abuja and Lagos would not be accepted for travel prior to or including this date. The statement read in part, “In line with government directives, passenger services from Nigeria (Lagos and Abuja) to Dubai are temporarily suspended until 20 March 2021. “Customers from both Abuja and Lagos will not be accepted for travel prior to or including this date.
