World Cup: Morocco Holds Spain to a 2:2 Draw

Morocco ended their World Cup campaign with a fiery performance which saw them holding Spain to a 2:2 draw. Morocco opened scoring in the 14th minute through Boutaib and Isco leveled things up for Spain 5 minutes later. The match continued in a stalemate until the 81st minute when En-Nesyri scored Morocco's second. World Cup: Russia Loses 0:3 to Uruguay

The Russian team experienced their first loss of the tournament, losing 0:3 to Uruguay. Luis Suarez opened scoring for Uruguay in the 10th minute and in the 23rd minute, Uruguay got a second off an own goal. Russia was reduced to 10 men when Igor Smolnikov was shown a second yellow and matched off in the 36th minute. World Cup: Senegal Draws 2:2 with Japan

Senegal has drawn 2:2 with Japan in their second group match. The Senegalese opened scoring in the 11th minute through a Sadio Mane tap in. 23 minutes later, The Japanese leveled up the score through Takashi Inui ending the first half in a 1:1 draw. In the second half, Senegal took the lead in the 71st minute through Moussa Wague. However, the Japanese equalized through Keisuke Honda in the 78th minute. The English team this afternoon, thrashed the Panama team by 6:1. John stones opened scoring for England in the 8th minute while Harry Kane doubled the lead in the 22nd minute from the penalty spot. World Cup: Switzerland Snatches a 2:1 Win Over Serbia

Switzerland snatched a win over Serbia, winning 2:1. The Serbians had opened score in the 5th minute through Mitrovic and managed to maintain that scoreline all through the first half. In the second half, the Swiss, pulled one back through Xhaka in the 52nd minute. The Belgian team saw off their Tunisian opponents with a 5:2 scoreline. Hazard opened score with a penalty in the 6th minute while Lukaku doubled the lead in the 16th minute. World Cup: Nigeria Keeps Hope Alive, Wins Iceland 2:0

Nigeria has kept their hope for a second round qualification alive by beating Iceland 2:0. Both Nigerian goals came in the first half courtesy of Ahmed Musa. He scored the 49th minute and the second in the 75th minute. Playing a different formation from the formation that saw them lose 2:0 to Croatia, the Nigerian team played with more purpose and could have scored more goals. Iceland however missed a penalty that was awarded courtesy of the VAR. With this result, Nigeria is now second on the group with 3 points while Iceland is third with 1 point and a -2 goals difference. Argentina is at the bottom of the group with 1 point and a -3 goals difference.
