World Cup: Senegal Gives Africa its First Win
Senegal defeated Poland by 2:1 to give Africa its first win in the on-going 2018 FIFA World Cup. Senegal's first goal was put down as an own goal after a Polish defender deflected a Senegalese shot into his own net.
In the 60th minute, Niang, coming back into the pitch having gone out following an injury, latched unto a defensive error to give Senegal her second goal.
The Senegalese however had a scary last 8 minutes as Poland pulled one back in the 86th minute and tried hard to get an equalizer.

Senegal will now play Japan on the 24th while Poland will play Colombia on later the same day.
