Premiership: Mahrez Finally Join ManCity for £60 million

Premiership champions Manchester City has finally signed Riyad Mahrez from Leicester for £60 million on a 5-year deal. This amount is about €68m or $80m. The signing finally put to rest the transfer saga that started in January which even saw the player boycotting some training sessions for his now former club. Speaking after his signing, Mahrez said "I am so pleased to have joined City, a side playing great football under Pep Guardiola." Mahrez becomes ManCity's first big-money signing this season.

Sports: ManCity to Sign Mahrez for £60m

After failing to sign the Leicester City play maker in the last transfer window, Premier league champions Manchester City is now set to close the deal for about £60m. This deals is expected to be concluded before the World Cup begins. Man City is also expected to sign Napoli midfielder, Jorginho for about £42m. Interestingly, none of these two players will be at the World Cup with their respective countries failing to qualify for the tournament.
