The Department of State Services (DSS) has debunked claims that it tortured Sa’idu Afaka, the President’s official driver to death. Public Relations Officer, Department of State Services, National Headquarters, Dr Peter Afunanya, said this in a statement late Wednesday evening. President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the attack on the police command headquarters and the correctional facility in Owerri, Imo State, labelling it as an act of terrorism. The Presidency has disclosed that it has yet to forward the supplementary budget for 2021 to the National Assembly. This was made known on Tuesday by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives), Umar el-Yakub, in response to an inquiry by Punch.
