World Cup: Ronaldo Exits as Portugal Loses 1:2 to Uruguay
Ronaldo has joined Messi in the exit party as Portugal lost 1:2 to Uruguay. Uruguay took an early lead through a Cavani header off a Suarez cross. Though Portugal enjoyed a much greater possession of the ball, they could not do much with it.
In the 55th minute, Pepe headed in the equalizer for Portugal and the game appeared set for fireworks. Cavani's second goal, fired in in the 62nd minute put Uruguay ahead again and Portugal once again found themselves chasing the game.
