Organ Harvesting: UK Court Denies Ike Ekweremadu Bail, Frees Wife

Beatrice Ekweremadu, wife of former Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Ike Ekweremadu has been granted bail by a London court. Senate President_Ike_Ekweremadu Recall that Ike Ekweremadu and his wife were arrested by the Metropolitan Police, London, over an alleged conspiracy to harvest the organ of one David Ukpo Nwamini. Although Nwamini initially claimed to be 15 years of age, it has since been confirmed that he is actually over 18 years. Ekweremadu was arraigned in court alongside his wife, Beatrice Nwanneka, for charges bothering on alleged kidney harvesting, however, his wife did not appear in court, yesterday. As I said from the outset, I cannot and will not condemn my friend and brother Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his beautiful wife unless I see the evidence of their wrongdoing or they are convicted by a court of law. I am now convinced that there is NO evidence and that they will NOT be convicted. Ike Ekweremadu and Wife Arrested in the Uk for Trafficking Child for Organ Harvesting

The Metro Police in the UK has announced the arrest of a Nigerian man named Ike Ekweremadu aged 60, and his wife Beatrice Ekweremadu, aged 55. The two were remanded in custody on suspicion of conspiring to bring a minor to the UK for the purpose of organ harvesting.
