Police Officer Shoots Lagos Lawyer Dead On Christmas Day

A policeman whose identity wasn't disclosed attached to the Lagos police command has shot dead a female lawyer identified as Bolanle Raheem. The incident reportedly took place on Sunday morning in the Ajah area of the State. Reports say the incident took place when the deceased and her family were on their way back from Christmas service. The car conveying them was stopped by some officers attached to the Ajiwe police station in Ajah. One of the officers reportedly shot at the car and the bullet hit the lawyer. The police officers were reported to have fled the scene immediately after the incident. The lawyer was allegedly rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. Ogun Police Arrest Two Brothers For Car Theft

The Nigeria Police, Ogun State command has nabbed two brothers for stealing a Toyota Camry in Lagos State. Officers of the force nabbed the suspects on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway while attempting to escape with the stolen car to Imo State. This was contained in a statement issued by SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, Police Public Relations Officer in the state on Thursday.
