‘Nnamdi Kanu Will Be Shocked’ – Lawyer On Beheading Of Anambra Lawmaker

Ifeanyi Ejiofor, a counsel of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has reacted to the beheading of Okey Okoye, a member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, by unknown gunmen. Ejiofor said Kanu would be “gravely shocked” to learn of such killings in the South-East. He lamented that blood-sucking demons have taken over the South-East. Law The Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday struck out eight of the 15 counts filed against the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu. Mr Kanu was accused of various offences in the 15 counts, including treasonable felony and terrorism, offences he allegedly committed in the course of his separatist campaigns. A Federal High Court, Abuja, on Wednesday, dismissed a motion filed by leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, for the Director-General of the Department of States Services (DSS) to give oral evidence on his state of health. Nnamdi Kanu Justice Taiwo Taiwo, in ruling, held that fundamental rights cases are special cases “sui generis” which mode of commencement are affidavit evidence as prescribed under Order 2, Rule 2 of the Fundamental Human Right Enforcement Procedure Rules, 2009.
