Government Won’t Be Pressured into Restructuring Nigeria – Presidency
The Presidency has said that government will not succumb to threats and restructure the country, describing calls for restructuring as unhelpful and unwarranted at a time when the country is battling security challenges and the pandemic.
This was contained in a statement by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity on Sunday.
It comes in the wake of call by the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who on Saturday lent his voice to the call to restructure the country, asking President Muhammadu Buhari to urgently restructure the country to save it from breakup.
