Ekweremadu Case: The Youngman is 22yrs, Not 15yrs, NIS
Senator Ike Ekweremadu appears to be having some reprieve as the Nigerian Immigration Service has confirmed that the supposed minor in the case is actually 22 years and not 15years old as he claims.
It will be recalled that Senator Ike Ekweremadu and his wife were arrested on charges of trafficking a minor for organ harvesting. While all details are still emerging, Isah Idris, the Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service has revealed that the young man in the center of the controversy, Mr Ukpo Nwamini David, is actually 22 years of age and so not a minor.
