The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has announced governor Godwin Obaseki as the winner of Edo State governorship election held on Saturday. The victory meant Obaseki has secured a second term in office after seeing off contest from his opponents with a wide margin. INEC disclosed Obaseki’s victory on Sunday afternoon after he polled the highest number of votes in the Edo election.
