Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State paid a private visit to the Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission (NUC), Prof. Abubakar Rasheed, mni, MFR, FNAL, where he revealed the plan of his administration to float a specialised Confluence University of Science and Technology as its second state University. Osun Deputy Chief of Staff Embroiled in $120,000 Fraud

Abdullahi Binuyo, Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Gbeyoga Oyetola of Osun State has been charged to a Hight Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, by the Office of the Inspector-General of Police over alleged fraud in the tune of $120,000. The charge is marked CR/975/2020 containing four charges pertaining to conspiracy, fraud, cheating and forgery, Sahara Reporters reports. All the charges were reported to be liable to punishment under varied provisions of the Advanced Fee Fraud and other related offences and Penal Code Law. The All Progressive Congress, Delta State chapter has dismissed the defection of immediate past governor of the state, Emmanuel Uduaghan who dumped the party for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday, describing him as a “loner”. I am Back Home, Uduaghan Says as he Dumps APC for PDP

Former governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan has announced his return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), having left the party two years ago for the All Progressive Congress (APC). The immediate past governor formally decamped to the ruling party in Delta State on Monday in his hometown, Abigborodo in Warri North Local Government of the state. Announcing his return, Uduaghan in a post on his official Facebook page said, “I am back to join forces with other party leaders to strengthen our party, the largest Party in Africa -PDP!” In the post titled “I AM BACK HOME”, the former governor said, “Haven tasted the other side, it feels refreshing to be back home!
