In an unprecedented event, lawyers and other onlookers witnessed a total disrespect for the judiciary as even the Judge, Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu, had to be escorted to her chambers as a result of the disruption. BRT Bus Accident: LASG Arraigns Truck Driver for Reckless Driving

The Lagos State Government, through the Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Ministry of Justice on Friday arraigned the Dangote cement truck driver who was involved in the road accident that led to the death of four persons in Ikorodu. This contained in release by the Ministry  stated that the accused person, Mr. Sheriff Adebayo, was arraigned before Justice Sherifat Solebo of the Ikeja High Court on a four-count charge of involuntary manslaughter contrary to section 224 of the Criminal Law of Lagos. Lagos Gov Appoints Abdullahi as Acting Commissioner for Waterfront

Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday approved the appointment of Mallam Ahmed Kabiru Abdullahi as Acting Commissioner for Waterfront Infrastructure Development. Abdullahi, who is from Kastina State, was initially appointed by the Governor as Special Adviser on Urban Development. He was also a former Executive Secretary of Lagos State Water Regulatory Commission. According to a circular signed by the Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola, Abdullahi's redesignation takes immediate effect.
