The Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II, has charged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to allow governor Godwin Obaseki discharge his duty freely without external influence. He made the call when five governors elected on under the platform of PDP paid a courtesy call on him, Tuesday. PDP governors; Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa, Nyesom Wike of Rivers, Aminu Tanbuwal of Sokoto, and and Seyi Makinde of Oyo were part of the delegation to the monarch.   The National Assembly has completed the installation of automated COVID-19 sanitizing devices on all entrance points to curb the spread of the virus. The chamber now has a chest containing hand sanitizer. This is different from the automated sanitizer which sprays substances on any individual that walks through it in other to kill viruses or germs that may be attached to the person. The All Progressive Congress, Delta State chapter has dismissed the defection of immediate past governor of the state, Emmanuel Uduaghan who dumped the party for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) yesterday, describing him as a “loner”. I am Back Home, Uduaghan Says as he Dumps APC for PDP

 Former governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan has announced his return to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), having left the party two years ago for the All Progressive Congress (APC). The immediate past governor formally decamped to the ruling party in Delta State on Monday in his hometown, Abigborodo in Warri North Local Government of the state. Announcing his return, Uduaghan in a post on his official Facebook page said, “I am back to join forces with other party leaders to strengthen our party, the largest Party in Africa -PDP!” In the post titled “I AM BACK HOME”, the former governor said, “Haven tasted the other side, it feels refreshing to be back home! Nigeria: Boko Haram attacks Zulum’s Convoy, Soldier Injured

  The convoy of Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, was involved in a fresh attack on Sunday morning around Baga. The fresh attack which did not record any death, happened when the governor and his convoy were returning to Maiduguri. This latest attack is coming two days after the governor was involved in a similar attack on Friday which led to several casualties. The fresh attack on Sunday on Zulum’s convoy was gathered to have happened about 10.30am on two kilometers away from Baga.
