There Is A Terror Group Now In Lagos – Nnamdi Kanu

Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu says there is an organised terror group in Lagos State. The IPOB leader also said the Miyetti Allah in Ebonyi State was functioning as a terror group for years until the Eastern Security Network (ESN) single-handedly drove them out of the state. He stated that the intimidation that the ESN and IPOB are getting from the Nigerian government is because of their determination to frustrate the terrorists groups in the South-East. The Lagos State Government has eased restrictions on social gatherings and event centres across the state. This was contained in a press statement titled ‘Lagos State Government eases restrictions on social and event centres’, on Friday. The management of the Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka, Lagos State has debunked a publication by a Nigerian newspaper, ThisDay, which claimed that the institution’s management installed CCTV cameras in hostels to watch students’ while naked. This was disclosed by the school’s provost, Wahab Azeez, during a press conference on Friday at its academic board hall. Amotekun Arrests Truckload of Armed Fulani Herdsmen Heading To Ogun, Lagos

Officers of Oyo State Security Network Agency, known as Amotekun, have intercepted a truck loaded with no fewer than 80 men suspected to be Fulani herdsmen at the Iwo Road area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital. According to a report by Sahara Reporters, the Amotekun corps  stopped the men, who were loaded in a truck, and a quick search revealed some bows, arrows and daggers in the vehicle. The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State has endorsed Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde as leader of the opposition party in the south-west zone. The Lagos State chapter of the party pledged its support for Makinde during a stakeholders’ meeting at the government house, Ibadan, on Saturday, The Cable reports.
